These pages are used to manage various aspects of your identity at CWRU related to your network account, such as setting up preferred email addresses, creating aliases, and requesting an extention to your roles within the University.

Email Services

We provide you with several options for using your CWRU Email account.

Email Routing

If you are eligible you may choose to have all email sent to your CWRU email addresses redirected to an off campus email address of your choice.

Preferred first.last Email Address

Your official email address at CWRU will be defined as your legal first name followed by your legal last name. (aka first.last@case.edu) This tool allows you to create an alias using an alternate first name instead of your legal first name. This email address does not replace your official email address but adds an alternate alias that you may use.

Note: Changing your last name must be handled by opening a help desk ticket with UTech.

Personal Mail Aliases

The University allows you to create and use up to five email aliases of your choosing. Use this tool to manage those email aliases.

NOTE: The use of offensive aliases or creating aliases to impersonate someone or some group is prohibited. Anyone caught doing this may face disciplinary action by the University.

Account Services

Use this set of tools to check the status of, make changes to your personal information and, in some cases, your roles within the University.

Some roles (Faculty, Staff, Student, etc) are defined by your official status at the University and can not be changed. Other roles (affiliate, contractor, etc) may be added or extended by requesting them from someone with the authority to offer those roles.

Affiliate Request Form

An active Faculty or Staff member of CWRU may use this form to request the addition of a role or the creation of a network account for someone, such as a contractor or temporary employee. That Faculty or Staff member will then be responsible for that person. Affiliations can be set for up to one year and may be renewed.
